SGGW in Biodiversity Challenge 2025
From April 30 to June 27, SGGW will participate in the Biodiversity Challenge for ICA Members 2025 as a member of the ICA Network, which is co-hosting the event organized by Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands.
The goal of the event is to inventory as many plant, animal and fungal species as possible by experts, SGGW students and Warsaw residents, the inventory area is the SGGW Campus. Anyone can take part in the event, regardless of their knowledge – it is also a unique opportunity to learn how many species of plants, animals and fungi we can find in our country.
ICA Network wants to show that: Biodiversity is all around us, including on our university campuses. We are all committed to working together for biodiversity, sharing good ideas and best practices to learn and enjoy each other. Each of us can actively contribute to achieving a high biodiversity score on the SGGW Campus during the Biodiversity Challenge 2025 by creating an account on the observation platform. Brief instructions on how the platform works are available here>>.
Meanwhile, at this observation.org link, you can find all the universities that are participating in the Biodiversity Challenge 2025. Clicking on their names shows maps of the campuses. Additional information about the challenge will be available on posters and flyers.
